As for the power, the Xingyue L · Dongfang Yao is only equipped with a 2.0T high-power engine with a maximum power of 175kW (238 horsepower) and a peak torque of 350N·m, and the transmission system is matched with an 8AT gearbox, and is divided into a two-wheel drive star version and a four-wheel drive moon version. Another highlight is that the new car will be equipped with CDC variable damping suspension as standard across the variant. 

Xingrui · Dongfang Yao will launch 5 models, namely 1.5TD+7DCT (Jinghong version, Kunlun version, Fuyao version), 2.0TD high-power +8AT (Mochiyue version, Lanxing version). Among them, the 2.0TD version will use the same 2.0TD high-power engine as Xingyue L, with a maximum power of 175kW, and the transmission system will be matched with an 8AT gearbox. In terms of appearance, there are few changes, mainly with a silver logo and a new shape of multi-spoke wheels, while sports elements such as red brake calipers, Dominator Black exterior kit, and shocking suspension rear wing are also not absent.

The interior has been completely refreshed, with a cleaner wrap-around centre console with chrome trim throughout, a floating centre console, a rectangular full LCD instrument cluster, and a Flyme Auto in-vehicle system. The three-spoke multi-function steering wheel will also be equipped with a silver logo, and the new seats are quite similar to Xingrui L Zhiqing, and it is expected to be upgraded for intelligent driving assistance systems.
